The Eastside Axemen are currently looking to bolster our numbers going into the Spring 2024 half!
If you’re interested in learning the sport, making friends, and celebrating over 30 years of camaraderie on the Eastside there’s no better time to come out to a practice. No experience required. Check our field schedule for practice times and details.
Our home field is based in Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA. During our 15’s season, we train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00–9:00 p.m. with an optional post-practice social on Thursdays to get to know your teammates. Our 7’s season is less formalized and consists of a number of day long tournaments throughout the summer with practices being more flexible and usually taking place at Crestwood Park near downtown Kirkland.
Since 1992 Eastside Rugby has played in the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union (PNRFU). Our region is comprised of teams from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Eastside Rugby currently plays in Division III of PNRFU with all of our league fixtures in Washington. The current 2023–2024 season is split into Fall and Spring with playoffs at the end of the Spring season.
